Vision Statement
Embracing the Future, Today
1. Understanding that the biblical mandate is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that is relevant to the Pluralist Society of Suriname. . The Salvation Army will seek to use all available resources, time, and energy to Evangelize.
2. That each Salvationist, and adherent will use their time, creativity and talent to carry on Mission work plan in conjunction with their daily lives. Their burning desire to see lost Souls come to Jesus, their call to membership in the Salvation Army.
3. That each Salvationist Spiritually and personally supporting and mobilizing the creation Development of vital new congregations.
4. That each Salvationist and adherent a witness to God’s love and Justice in their home, Work place, and in the wider community.
5. That each Salvationist and adherent Endeavour to uphold and encourage the sanctity of Marriage and family life, believing that the future of God’s Church depends on a healthy, Spiritually God-fearing family.
6. The Salvation Army will continue to serve the needs of our diverse communities with the Concept- “With Heart to God and Hand to Man.”
7. The Suriname Region will train Soldiers Spiritually and Academically to manage mainly Social Services appointments in the Region. To motivate and encourage young people to Respond to the call for officer ship.

The time is now. The demands of the Gospel to make disciples is must not be ignored. The business of Evangelizing is the business of Every Salvationist.
Salvationist are called to joyfully share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to bear witness by actively participating in ministries of compassion and justice.
Salvationist are aware of the urgency of the challenge to engage the whole church in the work of evangelism, as the Army prepares to respond to the mission at its doorstep
